How We Work Together
Our thoughts, emotions and bodies are deeply connected. Sometimes we hold tension, habits or ways of responding that words alone cannot fully reach. By bringing gentle awareness to what is happening in the present moment, new possibilities can begin to emerge.
My approach is rooted in Body Psychotherapy, a holistic way of working that recognises the wisdom of the body alongside our thoughts, emotions, relationships and lived experience.
Pause. Listen. Respond.
These three words guide the way we work together.
We begin with curiosity
Rather than analysing or trying to fix what is wrong, we slow down and become curious about your experience, allowing it to unfold at its own pace.
The body has a voice
Alongside thoughts and feelings we may notice breathing, posture, movement, sensations or impulses. These are not interpreted or analysed but explored together with care, respect and curiosity.
There is no single way to work
We may meet online, indoors or outdoors. Sometimes conversation is enough. At other times, mindfulness, movement or simply sitting quietly together opens something new. Together we choose the setting, pace and approach that best supports you.
